CAST (2024)

The ‘Cast’  is the result of exploring the body and consciousness through the practice of self-confinement. Gradually, free movements harden and become enclosed in a dense shell. During the process of immobilization, “blind spots” appear—areas that are hidden from direct perception. These gaps are not flaws, but symptoms of the specificity of the bodily system. It is precisely these inaccessible areas that become the path to liberation.

Present in space as a sculptural object, the final cast functions as a transformed material artifact — the unconscious result of conscious action. It becomes evidence of overcoming a slowly unfolding crisis, a visualization of the paradox when the confinement of material becomes a condition for acquiring form.
